why do the men im very attracted to never follow up?

Hi so im 19F and i get a good amount of matches some of which convert into conversations, but what i notice is the most attractive men often text a bit then ghost or just yeah it never lasts much. im not bad looking pretty normal to good i think but idk is it coz i have long term dating on my profile and they j want to hook up? im open to anything w ppl i like rn im single so. i dont understand am i j not hot enough to keep their attention??? what should i do
