fellowship of the ring 4k atmos vs dvd dts

hello
I have the dvd extended and bluray extended
i still prefer the audio dts es on the dvd, especially the sauron intro about making another ring to control all others - there is flames from left to right which is loud in the rears for the dvd, but the bluray is quiet in rears and it just take me out of it because missing
Is the 4k atmos like the dvd audio or based on the bluray audio.. I havent found much info on this part
