International Travel with Nordace Siena Pro Tote

I wanna take my Nordace Siena Pro Tote Bag (Medio) as a handbag on my international flight (14+ hours) and I’m concerned about the shoulder straps comfort, especially since I need to carry my laptop with me.
For context, for both the airports, walking between the flight and the immigration area takes 15-25 mins, and I use a cushioned shoulder strap with my canvas messenger bag when I commute for work (approx 45 mins each way).
Does anyone have any experience travelling with this bag and/or have any generic comments about the straps comfort? I would appreciate any other feedback too :)
