How do you make your bases pal-accessible? Are there not pal-passage DOORS?
Am I going fucking crazy, or are the "pal passages" unable to be fitted with DOORS? Am I missing something, or is there any other way to make a home accessible to moderately larger pals? Obviously not extra large things that would need a huge gate, but like, a 2 floor high space? Is the ONLY option literally leaving it completely open?
