I hate editing….

However, I’ve decided that I should at least be able to do so if it’s requested of me.

I’m not gonna pay for it so I’m not gonna purchase Photoshop or Lightroom or any other program that I would need to pay for.

I’ve decided that I’m going to use Darktable.

However, downloading it and importing a picture into it, I literally have no clue how to use it.

So I’m asking for resources that will allow me to learn how to use it. I’ve decided I don’t want to be completely self taught in this case.
Keep in mind I’ve never used an actual editing program to any extent.
And I am asking in a forum for analog photography because those are the photos I will be editing. I don’t do any digital photography.

What suggestions might you have?
