I inherited this small glass vase about 10 years ago from my uncle. He received them from a man who collected rocks, fossils, and artifacts. He told us stories of how he traveled to the Gobi desert and had many crystals from there, don’t know how trustworthy that is but I vaguely remember being told they were from Egypt, possibly ancient, but I honestly don’t remember exactly what was said, and I have no paperwork or provenance.

I’m hoping someone can help identify them based on their construction and style.

Details:

\- About 3.5 inches (9 cm) tall
\- Blue glass.
\- Originally covered in much more gold decoration, but a lot has worn away over time.
\- Hand-applied curled handles.
\- No obvious mold seams that I can find.
\- Visible air bubbles in the glass, especially in the handles.
\- Slightly heavier than they look.
\- Make a fairly dull sound when gently tapped together.
\- Bottom has what appears to be a pontil scar.
\- The inside still has dirt/mineral deposits that haven’t been cleaned out.
\- No signatures or maker’s marks that I can find.

I’m not trying to prove they’re ancient Egyptian, I’m just trying to figure out if they’re:
Egyptian Revival
Murano or other art glass
Middle Eastern handmade glass
An authentic ancient vessel
Or something else entirely.

Any opinions or similar examples would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for any feedback.

Can anyone help identify these handmade glass vases from Egypt? Supposedly from an old artifact collection.
