Newb user question

I am recently new user to cock rings. My question is, is it normal for my loads to be a small dribble when I ejaculate? The logic behind it is obvious, a tight cinch is restricting the vessels and urethra, so yes it should be normal. But I see videos here on Reddit where guys are shooting massive loads. How do I achieve that? Or am I doing something wrong? I wear the rings around the shaft and balls, like I’ve learned is the supposed correct way.
