Specialized Sent me 5-year old helmets and I'm confused

After reading through this subreddit I ordered two (what I thought were new) Align II helmets from Specialized and I just received them today. Both were manufactured in 2021, one being a bit older than 5 years old and one being a bit younger. I ordered directly from Specialized.

Am I missing something obvious? Honestly, makes me kind of concerned and a little pissed for anyone who doesn't check closely. Should I order something else?
