Nostramo's vigilante. Marvel/DC and Warhammer similarities.

I'm currently reading Soul Hunter (loving it!), and the origins of Curz reminded me of a dark (very dark) vigilante, like an extreme mix between Batman and The Punisher.

Are there other similarities between Warhammer and Marvel/DC in terms of characters and lore in general?
