Ninja 1100sx or Suzuki GSX-S 1000GT+?

Hello everyone, I'm looking to get into a sport touring bike to replace my MT-09. As much as I love my triple, I often find myself mostly on the highway, and even with a windscreen on the MT I find the wind protection to be lacking. I also would like to have saddlebags for storage, just not a fan of carrying a backpack in this hot weather.

So the question is:

Has anyone considered both? Which one did you choose and why?

Has anyone else come from an MT-09? I know the engine characteristics are very different from a triple to a four, but that's something I can live with. Just wondering if anyone had buyers remorse.

If you own either or, what's the maintainence like? I hear the Suzuki is more of a pain to change oil on.

Those who rode both, which is more comfortable? I have a bad back that makes me a little more sensitive to road imperfections so the more plush the better.

Unfortunately I cannot test ride either, for one there's not much stock of either bike close to me, also dealers don't like giving test rides. I was able to sit on the GT+ today tho.

Was a big fan of the seat height, I'm also a shorter guy at about 5'7". I understand the kawasaki has a slightly higher seat height than my MT.
