As someone who started watching last season, what seasons should I go back and watch to get what "OG" Love Island looks like?

Started watching season 7 after hearing about Huda's antics and was quickly sucked in.

This season seemed... pretty dull? Even compared to last year. But I see a lot of you have watched seasons 1-6 and have differing opinions.

Which season would be good to watch to watch a classic Love Island story from beginning to end?

Like, I wanna know if we want them exploring or closed off and how this whole game has evolved over the years but I'm sure there are better seasons than others for that. TY!
