Brave Sync working... but not as expected

Very simply, Sync works across my 3 devices but it does something I do not like:

It replaced (moved down, actually) my most-used links in my Brave Bookmark Bar just under the URL bar.

Can I specify the Sync location, say, a folder, rather than keep moving my needed bookmarks out of the way?
