Seller looking for advice

Recently, I've had a decent run of sales (probably the most I've had in the 4 years I've been on Cardmarket), and I've noticed that most of the buyers who purchase cards that have the trustee service just don't confirm the card's arrival, which, while super annoying, isn't the point of this post.

One order I had was posted back in the middle of June and delivered within a couple of days, according to tracking. The seller replied to only one of the messages after I told them when I was going to post their card. Since then, not a word from them. Anyway, it got to the stage where I requested arrival confirmation, and it stated it would be automatically confirmed as delivered yesterday (10/07), but the order still hasn't been confirmed as arrived, so I have a couple of questions.

1. I know it says that it will be confirmed as long as the buyer doesn't intervene, but would I have any notification as to why it hasn't been automatically confirmed?

2. Has anyone else had delayed automatic confirmations?

As much as I enjoy making some extra cash on the side for cards that are just sitting around, this sort of thing really makes me not want to list anything to trigger the trustee service. It's a shame as Cardmarket has been a great place to sell things and their support has really helped me out when it's come to some shady buyers, but it does sting when funds are caught in limbo, hoping buyers actually know they need to confirm their orders, knowing you've done everything correctly.
