Friends in Orthodoxy

I recently left a Protestant church that teaches its members to stop talking to people who leave. Starting my journey through orthodoxy is going to be difficult because people I’ve know my whole life, all my friends and some family will no longer speak with me. It has been a very lonesome time so far and I find it hard to get to know people at coffee hour. If there is anyone who is in the central fl area who would be down to talk or hop on a game that would be awesome.
