The Gauntlet III rewatch and finale

I’ve been rewatching The Challenge and just finished Gauntlet III. Overall, it’s a good season, but that finale was wilder than I remembered.

The way they treated Big Easy while he was having what looked like a heat stroke was wild as fuck. It kind of changed my opinion of some of the cast members on the veteran team because they came off really shitty. The dude looked like he was legitimately dying, and they acted like his life was worth a portion of $300K while treating him like absolute shit.

The only person who came off as normal and actually seemed to care was Brad. Watching it now, at almost 40 years old, this looks a whole lot worse than I remember. I’m glad the rookies won that challenge.
