Teaching the Faith to Children

We have a four year old and whilst we try to engage her in the mass as much as possible (learning to kneel and when to be quieter even getting some Amen's in the right places) We're lucky at our church that there is a section that opens up to the side of the sacristy that's more like a church hall so there is space for her to move around a bit. My wife does an amazing job engaging with her but we're about to have another child shortly and I was wondering if anyone has any advice or resources that would be helpful. I'm thinking like activity sheets that explain the readings in more simple words or colouring or something I haven't thought of that can slowly go from that transition of just being at mass to more actively participating.
