AITA for taking a week off to play video games?

I have been with my gf for over 2 years. We live in the UK and I currently work full time and have recently started a new job. As a hobby I like to play video games to unwind. I mainly play single player games since I like a good story

In November GTA 6 is coming out which I’ve been looking forward to for years as well as a few good games coming out in September and October.

I decided as a treat for myself I would use a week of leave to stay home and play it. I mentioned this to my gf and she said it would be a waste of leave since I get 10 days off over Christmas anyway.

I pointed out that I'd be busy for most of that since I'd be seeing family on Christmas day and boxing day, my gf and I have plans to go away for a couple of nights etc so while it will be a fun 10 days, it won't be relaxing and I won’t have a lot of time for hobbies.

She just repeated its a waste of leave especially if we're looking at a small holiday abroad in January-February time. I told her this won't affect that and I'll still have the leave. I told her it's my leave to use as I please and me taking a week off in November does not affect her at all.

i pointed out it’s no different from her using her Leave to go to see live music and attend concerts but she argued it was different.

She just repeated that it's a week less that we'll be able to use for things for us both to do.
