Principal yelled at a 4th grader so loudly that my own heart beat fastened.
I was in class and the school principal was on an inspection round. She came into my class where I was writing some questions on the board.
Some of them had brought their copies to note it down. She started checking every student's copies and instructed me to write a diary note.
All of a sudden, she started storming off on the students. They were all 4th graders. She yelled at one of the kids so loudly that my own heart beat fastened for a while.
I can only imagine what could have happened to the kid. But I was totally helpless, and couldn't do anything but to console the kid after she had gone.
That kind of yelling and screaming can sometimes install a lifelong trauma which the kids could not understand at that moment but it surely resurfaces and gives you a trauma.
What would you have done if you were at my place?
