Hello everyone, I’m a first time homebuyer looking around for the first time trying to get a feel for everything I am aware that your first home most likely will not be your dream home so I’m going into this not being very besides the logical and most obvious things to keep in mind..The max price range I’m looking for is 425,000. I currently live in Sacramento California where the market is very competitive and expensive and properties are very close together with minimal sized yards for me personally, I feel more at home and at peace in the rule areas like Pollock Pines Pine Grove, San Andreas, etc. I have even looked in places like Orangeville Galt Rancho Cordova and even as far as Marysville, California, I’m currently looking for 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom I chose these areas specifically because I want some property with a little bit of land not too much acres but anywhere between 0.24. to 3 acres that way I have enough room for my fruit trees fruit bushes and various vegetables that I grow plus my three big dogs for them to run around .. in addition any future plans of expanding or adding anything else such as sheds barn or workhouses can be prepped planned easily I also don’t mind a house that needs a little work like a fixer-upper as long as things like central air and heating unit water heater and electrical in house structure is intact. I do not mind cabinets, light fixtures, paint carpet stuff like that I do not mind. I don’t mind commuting no more than 1 hour if the purchase price is right …. i’m honestly just looking for some advice and some pointers on what should I do and be prepared for before I start going out to get approved or start speaking with anyone and last is it possible to buy a home within 9 months in my current position, just hope someone can share some knowledge with me
