missed recruiting second apprentice [KCD2]

I'm a big dumdumb, I have now completed the legacy of the forge DLC, and towards the end i kept wondering where's my second apprentice, I'm pretty sure i have room for one more if the huts at the smithy is anything to go by

Apparently, I missed my shot, because Pushko is that fellow, and despite me thinking, gee, I'd like to recruit this guy when i played the quest i apparently missed the opportunity despite looking for it because I am blind, and now it's apparently lost to me forever

fuck me, I am stupid
