(READ the Post's Body) Horror Book taking place in the house of the character.

for little less than a year i have been living in a house, which is not that good, its comparitivly big, specially for just me. Its probably more than 50 years old atleast. NOW due to reinovation which was done before me, there is roof between the roof, as old one was too high, so there is quite a space in the ceiling and actual roof, and there are old windows, with green glasses, which are somewhat cracked and light pases slightly, all scattered in dark, atleast in day time. there is a lot of dirt and dust inside it, and the windows and woods are filled with ants, and previous night there was even sound, maybe a cat on the roof. and one time while i was working on my computer, the new in-between roof cracked almost, which will be soon fixed. Its not my house, just rented by my parents. who live here too, but ignore them.

SO that kind of story/book i want, i want the book/character to take place in a house, almost decaying, if thats the correct word, maybe real world harms like ants and dirt and ofcourse the supernatural. it will be more better to have the character to be the only individual living in it.

i have heard Salem's Lot is something like that, and also the other stephen king's short story. NOW please try to be spoiler free. write if its similar.
