How much editing is 'too much'?

Question

For me, I'm happy to edit things that the camera didn't capture very well. I'll brighten a dark photo, use Relight if the lighting was bad, remove random people in the background, or use Mirror Clean if I forgot to wipe the mirror before taking a selfie. I use Airbrush for those kinds of edits because they're quick and still look natural.

What I'm not really a fan of is changing how I actually look, like using super blurry facetune style skin filters, or reshaping my body so much that the background ends up all warped.

I prefer my photos to look like me, and be super natural, but just improve a bit on what my phone actually captured.

I'm really curious to hear what other people think, how much editing is really happening on IG, and what edits do you think are a step too far?
