how do people get part time jobs in syd

hi guys, i honestly don’t know what else to do so i’m coming to reddit for advice.

i’m a full-time international uni student in sydney and i’m finding it impossible to get a part-time paid job. i don’t have any retail or hospitality experience, but i do have quite a bit of corporate experience and i’ve never had trouble getting internships (although most of them seem to be unpaid).

i’ve applied online everywhere, handed out my resume in person, and still haven’t had any luck. i really need a job that pays decently and works around uni, but i’m starting to feel stuck.
has anyone else been through this or have any advice?
