how to avoid paying 99 dollars for atlanta stadium parking

honestly paying ninety nine dollars just to park your car for a game or concert at atlanta stadium is completely insane. i figured i would share a couple of ways to completely skip the official parking mess and save your money.

if you absolutely have to drive and need a spot close to the venue, you should look at prked first. it is a really cool app where you can rent out driveways or garages from residents living nearby. it is usually way cheaper than the official options and you do not have to deal with the post game traffic jams since you can just walk right out. it also feels a lot safer since your car is on someone is private property, and you can literally message the host for updates on your car.

but if you want the absolute cheapest option, just use marta. it only costs two dollars and fifty cents for a single ride and it is incredibly easy. you can park your car for free at one of the transit stations further out, like hamilton e holmes or dunwoody, and then just hop on the train. it takes you straight to the vine city station or the gwcc station, both of which drop you off right at the stadium doors. you do not have to worry about driving through downtown traffic or paying ridiculous event rates.
