I told my childhood friend I’m gay

So, my childhood friend who I hadn’t talked to for years (until recently) and I started hanging out again.

In the past I started distancing myself from him because I was dumb and scared that if I told him I was gay we would stop being friends. (Solution was ending it early on my own terms, without talking to him about it 💔)

Anyways, our parents have been wanting us to hang out again and so I decided to reach out, since I was told he also wanted to be friends again.

Well around the 3rd time we hung out (he like instantly clocked it btw, like I could tell that he was catching on I was gay on like the 1st day bruh) he kept prying about “why I wished I was a bit shorter” since I’d mentioned it before (I’m 5’ 11”) and so I ended up having to confess I like taller guys.

In retrospect I could’ve probably been more vague but I wanted to rip the bandaid off early ykyk

He was very accepting and said that I’m a good looking guy so I’ll probably get a boyfriend soon ;-; if it were that easy 🥹

Also I have reason to believe he’s gay/bi too (he knows what yaoi, yuri, bl, and gl are despite coming from a VERY conservative/anti-gay background)

Maybe it means something? 🤑
