Boss and coworker caught me scratching the inside of my nose and they were both horrified. Considering quitting my job. What do I do?

I had an itch in my nose and my boss and coworker walked in while I had my finger in my nose scratching it. My boss' jaw dropped and my coworker looked at me disgusted. This is the most money I've ever made and my insurance is really good and really cheap. But I have been unable to sleep for over a month. My boss went on a long vacation after this happened so I haven't been around her. I'm seriously considering going back to private employment even though the money is terrible and I'll lose my insurance. I can't cope with them knowing this about me.

I don't know what to do.
