I compiled 200+ game publishers and investors into a free, open directory — plus a pitching guide. No paywall, no email gate.
I've spent the last few weeks compiling every game publisher and investor I could actually verify — 200+ entries, worldwide — along with a pitching guide based on what actually gets a reply.
It's on GitHub. Free. No email gate, no "book a call," no PDF for $99.
What's in it:
- 200+ publishers and investors worldwide
- Contact details where I could verify them
- What each one actually funds (genre, stage, ticket size) where known
- Notes on who's responsive and who isn't
- A pitching guide covering what I learned about what gets read vs. ignored
I'm a dev building my own game, and I went through this process myself. Most of what's in here is the stuff I wished someone had handed me at the start.
Why free:
When one indie lands an investor, we all gain a little. That funded game ships. It sells. It becomes the case study the next founder points at when a fund asks "has this genre ever worked?" Success compounds — but only if the door is open.
The people who most need this information are usually the ones least able to pay for it. That felt backwards to me.
So take it. Use it. And if a fund is missing, a contact is dead, or you got a reply from someone I've marked as unresponsive — open an issue. Make it better for the person after you.
