Heatwave protections
I'm in one of the hottest parts of the country for all these heatwaves, in a corner terrace that is East and South facing, so maximum sun all day long (thought this was a great thing when I bought it, not so much now lol).
Is there anything I should be doing to mitigate damage to the following:
-
Double plug sockets inside garage. The sockets are barely used, but due to the heat have been too hot to even touch the socket casing, this is the one that concerns me the most.
-
Round black water meter under window (pictured) gets full sun all day, too hot to touch by lunchtime
-
Combi boiler pipes (pictured) again gets full sun and they're too hot to touch, boiler was only installed in October and the previous one had no pipework here so it's the first summer with this one.
Do any of these things need coverings or any other action to lessen the heat? Or are all these things more resilient than I'm thinking
