[Serious question] Can you get rich by investing in share market?

Seriously, this question is stuck in my mind forever? Can we get by investing money in shares? Every serious person I see will talk about the market, portfolio, SIP ratios and all. But it feels so dumb talking to them as they have so much experience and knowledge.

Since, this sub has more intellectual people related to this field.

Hey, I am newbie in this. I don't really want to spend any money on the useless things when I get an itch to spend money. And I want to invest with small. But also feels like someone will scam in the minutes.
