Hello Artists,

I am currently developing a small 2D boss-fighting game as a hobby project.

So far, I created most of the basic game elements myself (map, boxes, UI elements, health bars, etc.) using Sketch.io. However, I reached my limit when it comes to the most important part: the boss character. (Yes also the hero is still a placeholder but i will also try to draw them myself)

I am looking for an artist who can help me create the main boss monster and some simple attack area effects.

The game has a hand-drawn sketchbook/pen style. I attached a screenshot of the current game and an AI-generated sketch for the boss monster as a rough direction. The AI image is only a placeholder — I do not want to use AI-generated art in the final game and would like to replace it with original artwork.

What I need:

* 1 main boss monster design
* A few simple area-effect visuals for attacks (for example: shadow areas, danger zones, ground effects)
* Fantasy style
* Clear silhouette suitable for a 2D game

Style:

* Sketchbook / pen / pencil drawing style
* Mostly grayscale
* One additional accent color is possible
* Some effects like arms, smoke, shadows, energy, etc.

The creature itself can be your own idea. It could be a dragon, eye monster, shadow creature, skull, cube monster, or something completely different. I am open to creative ideas.

This is a small hobby indie project, so my budget is limited. I currently have around **€100** available for this task. I am not sure if this is realistic for the scope, so please let me know honestly if the budget is too low.

If you are interested, please send:

* Your estimated price
* Any questions you have

I can share more screenshots/videos and details via DM.

Thank you!
