I am 24(m) hindu and I was dating a 24(F) christian

So I was dating a girl who is orthodox Catholic and she and I had an amazing relationship. We are compatible, we live each other and we had the best experience but she broke with me because of the religious difference. She said she tried to convince herself that she would be fine but now she is not sure and to protect me she broke up with me. We tried talking about it a lot of times but still we came to the same conclusion where she said she wont be able to be with me because of the religious differenences like faith and all it would be difficult in the future. I understand her point but if she is so orthodox then why did she started to date a hindu guy and she some days say she is opening up to it then some day says she is not.

I am confused what should i do.....
