Just found out about this. I've just started my journey into matcha territory and, honestly, "lasang damo" was my first reaction.

I've been a coffee drinker since college—from 3-in-1, to 7-11 brewed, hanggang sa nag-start na akong mag-grind ng own beans and French press. But lately, siguro dahil na rin sa edad ko, nag-start na akong mag-palpitate which makes me uncomfortable. So, I started transitioning to matcha dahil sabi nila mas "slow burn" daw yung caffeine at hindi mabibigla yung katawan ko.

Of course, matcha is an acquired taste, and since may sweet tooth ako, nag-experiment ako with sugar and agave. Then, biglang na-flood yung social media feeds ko ng matcha content. Nakita ko na ang daming content creators na gumagamit ng iba't ibang syrups.

We were a bit iffy about ordering from an unknown online store on IG, but we decided to bite the bullet and test 1 syrup. To our surprise, dumating siya agad the next day. The price was okay, and ramdam mong homemade talaga.

One big plus point is hindi siya super tamis (good thing, kasi takot ako sa diabetes). Sabi rin ng partner ko, hindi niya ino-overpower yung lasa ng matcha. I can really taste the difference of using real cane sugar compared to off-brand syrups na gumagamit ng fructose syrup.

Definitely ordering again! Shout out to SunnyBorisDaily for making my matcha journey a lot better.
