First fight after not even a year of training?

QUESTION

So first off, i'd probably call myself a perfectionist. I have been bodybuilding / powerlifting for more than 10 years and built a good amount of muscles and strength. I just started learning to box about 4 months ago, and my coach always tells me i am way too stiff and immobile because of all the muscle. Also my cardio sucks because of all the extra weight i carry around.

Despite all of this, i am really motivated to learn how to box and even want to do a fight some day. I would say i'm probably the most "serious" guy in there and attend more classes than anyone else, but as i said, i still suck lol.

Now my coach told me i will move up to the "competition group" next month and we will prepare for a fight in about 3 months. I dont know how to feel about this to be honest. I feel like i still suck, i have only been training for a couple of months, my cardio sucks, i am too heavy, i move like a r*tard and so on....

Is it normal to do your first fight after not even a year of training, or is he rushing me?
