Doesn’t the tag of NLU matter anymore?

Hi I’m a clat aspirant and was told by someone who couldn’t get into a nlu that the tag of NLUS has expired and with the times changing, by the time I finish my course, NLU will not matter. I don’t believe this and think even 10yrs down the line the tag of NLU will matter as they are the Ivy Leagues of Law in India, I need some advice regarding the same and also am wondering what are ur thoughts? Also if anyone is in any nlu, pls dm.
