Day 34 of the Zeekr Big Lap and I'm feeling a mix of accomplishment and sadness in the Kimba free camp as I bed down in Hotel Zeekr one last time.

I've booked a hotel room for Adelaide tomorrow night before sailing back home to Kangaroo Island on Wednesday.

Departed Nullarbor Roadhouse at dawn, driving east into a spectacular sunrise.

I could have easily made the 295km to Ceduna, as I charged to 96% overnight, but first stop was the brand NRMA eLumina charger at Nundroo, mainly to check it out and eat the last of my WA oranges before quarantine.

Arriving at 11am, Twig enjoyed a walk down the Ceduna jetty as I reminisced about my days living in the town in the early 2000s.

Then it was our first charge on the fantastic RAA network since we left the state a month ago at Mount Gambier.

Drove 200 km through rain and bright green wheatfields to get to the RAA charger at Wudinna, where I arrived within minutes of James and Janine, heading back to WA from a holiday drive to Cairns.

James, whose crossed the Nullarbor seven times doing his laps of Australia, has provided me some great advice, as have the other WA EV crew.

And they had a treat for Twiggy.

I did pick up yet another stone chip from a passing roadtrain, but this one is easily repairable.

As was returning to the car from getting an afternoon cup of tea at the bakery, a SA local whose been following me on YouTube came over to say hi after he recognised the Zeekr.

He's just ordered a Sealion 7 so we had a great chat.

It was then only 100 km to my final destination for the night at Kimba, picking up a Vindaloo curry at the service station and getting a photo with the silo art.

Trip stats for the day were 599.9km with an efficiency of 22.6kWh/100km.

The car has now done 21,109 km, which means the lap stands at 14,800 km.

It will all be over in 2 days when I make it back to KI.
