Looking for opinions on diy renovations / workflow
I'm down to the last 25% of remodeling my home. I'm at the stage where I'm just about to hang all the drywall.
It's a kitchen, a powder room, the dining area and the entrance. It's pretty open roughly 22 ft wide by maybe 35 ft long.
I'm just a diyer. I'm not a pro but I do good work but it does take me a long time. I've been debating finishing off the kitchen area entirely and then using zip wall to section off the area while I finish off the rest versus just doing it all at one time per step and having my kitchen be down longer. But maybe the workflow would be that much better.
I'm just not sure how to determine which makes more sense like my emotional side is telling me to get the kitchen done because it's hard to live day-to-day with our current arrangement which we are getting by but it's far from ideal.
But I also don't want the project to take double the amount of time, which I don't think makes sense that it would by splitting up the work. But I really don't know.
Has anyone gone through something similarly and what would you suggest?
