Reading Less/ Writing More

More a question for discussion rather than help, but I have noticed that the more I write, the less I want to read anything from others. Not because I don't support other authors or anything, but I worry that my writing will be too heavily influenced by other works. With all the talk of AI ripping off people's writing, you really don't need another reason for anyone to point a finger at saying you don't write organically. And I just like to come up with my own thing rather than use anyone else's ideas.

Does anyone feel that they read less the more they write? Maybe not even for the same reason. Could be other reasons.
