Interview

Today was my interview and I got really sick yesterday. So I requested to reschedule the interview but unfortunately they couldn't reschedule it due to full slots.

Anyways, I don't know how my interview went. Because in the middle, I was kind of going blank. They told me to introduce myself and I said about my hobbies and interests and how cNd aligns with my interests so that was fine. Then they asked why Habib? So I said because of the high quality faculty and one about the interdisciplinary program Habib offered and about the flexibility in majoring in cnd and at the same time minoring in SDP which was quite intriguing for me. Then they asked if I knew anyone from the AHSS faculty and I said no so they said that's fine. Then they asked about which subjects I struggled the most and which required my most effort with in o and a levels so I was honest and I said in olevels it was maths & cs because I needed a lot of practice in maths and coding and I found maths challenging. And in Alevels I said sociology because it's essay based and had a lot of theory so I had to practice a lot. (Now here's where I fumbled, because my AS grades showed Sociology: B, Psychology: B, Economics: D; the thing is I was right in saying Sociology as the subject I struggled with the most but I had to say that while my grades do not reflect this, to be honest I found Economics easy compared to sociology because I had econ in olevels too so I could easily grasp concepts but what I struggled with most was analysing data and writing essay answers and that's where I lost marks in the exam.)

Then they asked if I like to read books so I said yes but I prefer reading articles and there's this app called substack that I use. And they asked a follow-up question saying what type of content or people do you follow on substack and I said islamic, wellness and health stuff basically anything that allows me to become the best version of myself. Then they asked if I was to invite 3 people to a dinner from the past present or future, who would it be? I talked about a lums professor, my grandfather and allama Iqbal. This is most of the stuff I can recall that the interviewers asked

And also when they asked me if I had any other questions for them, I asked two: whether they integrate AI in their curriculum or is it just CS and whether students from non math background can do a minor in cs? (Very dumb question tbh)

Guys Idk, will I be able to pass the interview? I've been overthinking a lot since I came back and I've been thinking of the things I could've said like one of my hobbies is watching football but it slipped my mind when they told me to introduce myself.
