Hustle bustle without the nightclubs

Travelling in September with a family of 5 to adults three kids or kids under the age of 12. Wanting to stay very close to a train station. Supermarkets nearby. Walking distance to cafes. Walking to walking distance to eatery.

Have looked at Hongdae because it seems to take all the boxes but I’ve been put off by all the mentions of nightclub life and not suitable for young families more suitable for solar travellers and young people.

Are there any other recommendations that we should be looking at?
