60hz low fps to 165hz high fps - expectations?
Hey all! I've been playing CS:GO and CS on and off for the previous 10 years.
In CS:GO, I played at 60hz, 300fps and was able to reach Global Elite back then.
Now, in CS2, I've been playing for over a year on a 60hz 60fps setup (although the framerate oscilates between 30 and 80 most of the time). It stutters a lot during executions. I'm at 16k elo.
I was finally able to buy myself a nicer desktop computer again! And this time, I'll have my best setup yet: 165hz, 400fps.
I've never ever played at any refresh rate higher than 60hz in my entire life. When I attended the Rotterdam major this year, I was in awe with the smooth computers they had there for us to use. But I didn't get to play on it.
What will this mean for me? Will I be able to become more consistent? Aim better? Or not much of a difference at all?
Do share your experiences when upgrading from 60hz as I'm curious to hear!
