Matchmaking has become terrible in recent times

I don't know what's happened over the last Season or two, but my matchmaking has become utterly useless. I always get into matches with either Emerald or Ruby players who are clearly a higher skill range than me, teams of two or three who seem to perfectly know each other's locations or with obvious smurfs whose right hand has been blessed by god to hit every shot.

For some reason I also always seem to be getting people lower-level than me in my teams, does Embark expect me to carry my team to victory?! I suck ass!

I never got Ruby or Emerald in the game, my highest was Platinum for WT and Gold for Ranked, I play a few rounds every other day after work. I don't know why or how Embark expects me to win a Cashout or QC match against teams full of three-stack Emerald players or Ruby Prodigies.

The few wins I got in recent weeks were out of sheer luck or incompetency on the enemies part, at least they felt that way, considering we almost never wipe teams recently because of their skills.

My best guesses for the reason for this are as follows:

A) My level has gotten so high now (above 110) that Embark simply expects me to play better than I actually am and puts me into lobbies with other high-level or high-skill players

B) This game is slowly thinning out to only it's most devoted and skilled players, the ones who wipe the floor with you and I'm simply low in the skill ladder of those devoted players

C) I usually Duo Queue when possible, but my friends skill levels in shooters are usually higher than mine, meaning The matchmaking his handing me matches geared towards my friend

D) Since I've been consistently playing since S6 or so now, Embark think of my account as high-skilled and well-played and somehow assumes I want to get into lobbies with others like me

E) My level of skill coupled with my level is an outlier, making it hard for Embark to matchmake for me

F) There literally is no matchmaking outside of Ranked and I should simply suck it up and continue to lose

Please, Embark. Give me some better matchmaking.
