What are my chances of being allowed to continue studies.

I was recently given an email about being on final stage of risk for my course. I was asked to present a show cause letter to be allowed to continue my studies. I am aware of what I need to include in a show cause letter, but I am wondering what are the chances of being accepted or denied? Asking because the uncertainty is making me highly anxious.
