Hello everyone! I was thinking about the upcoming *Odyssey* movie. Aside from the race changes and lack of historical accuracy, I think it could still be a okish film. I am not racist, but what bothers me is the preaching, the forced "message", and how they depict the characters. Also, as a personal preference, I feel Elena wasn't well cast.

I am not an AI expert, but I recently used an app to restore some old, deteriorated pictures of my parents and grandparents. Google Gemini wouldn't let me do it, claiming it doesn't process content involving children, but I found another tool that had almost no restrictions. I even saw that this tool can take a video and completely replace faces using a single reference photo. I tried it myself with a picture, and it worked almost perfectly, even though I have no clue how these things work.

Could anyone more savvy take the scenes from the movie where they decided to do the diversity, inclusion, vegan etc and face-swap them with images of more traditionally beautiful women? For example, changing Athena, Helen, etc.?

It would also be great to see a different edit that cuts out the preaching and heavy exposition. I am not a video editor myself, but I imagine changing the visuals and pacing would completely improve the film.

It would be great to see a nice edit like that!

I know AI is bad, but big corps like Coca Cola are already using it for their ads, and even Reddit has AI functions and multi-billion dollar studios keep pushing this 'woke' agenda non-stop, can you imagine a version featuring beautiful Greek women?

Look at the pictures, I don't even know who these women are. I won't name a specific actress to avoid getting political, but look at who they cast. The bar is so low. Even if they wanted to cast a Black woman, there are so many beautiful options out there.

What is wrong with these people, and why did they go this way?

What do you think?
