car rental recommendations for anchorage trip?

planning to fly into anchorage in early august for about 10 days and i’ll need a car the whole time. i want to drive out to a few spots like seward and maybe do some day trips, so having my own wheels is pretty important.

i’ve been looking around and found some decent options on turo that seem cheaper than the airport counters. has anyone here used turo in anchorage before? how was the condition of the cars and pickup process? also curious if traditional rentals are worth it or if there are any hidden fees i should watch out for with alaska roads.
