College as a foreigner living in Japan

Hello!!

I'm a foreigner living in Japan for almost 3 years and I'm a second year highschool student in a public school.

Since 2nd year started, my school has been talking about colleges. Sadly, I have been having a hard time finding the right college, it seems that my options are limited because I can't really speak Japanese that well.

I've heard universities like Waseda and Sophia is good for foreign students but my teachers have told me its very hard to get into.

What else can I do?
