Is it worth accepting/applying for a project based job?

General Career Questions

Hi! Need some advice.

I'm a graduating student and recently had my final interview with a small company. The offer is project-based for around 2 years, with a performance evaluation after the first year. They can meet my expected salary, and while the benefits aren't the same as regular employees, they do provide basic health insurance (ex. check-ups) and mentioned they're working on improving the benefits for project-based employees. They also have performance-based salary appraisals.

The work setup is full onsite for the first month (or less), then hybrid after that around once a week RTO. The office is also relatively close to me (around 2 rides), so commuting isn't a huge concern.

The offer seems ok, but also thinking if I should keep applying for regular positions with better benefits and more long-term stability.

At the same time, the job market for fresh grads feels really tough right now. Even if you meet most or all of the qualifications, there's still no guarantee you'll get an offer, so I'm wondering if it's better to grab this opportunity or keep looking.
