So I named my daughter Kaylee
I had to choose between Charlotte (classic, timeless) and Kaylee (modern, friendly). I went with the latter mainly because of its meaning (pure) and it’s ‘easier’ for my husband’s family to pronounce. They’re not English speakers so it makes sense I guess.
Kaylee has many spelling variations but I went with the most common one according to SSA numbers. I also recently learned that it’s an American invention of the names Kay and Lee. What do you think? My LO’s surname is Pan. I find that I have more nickname to play around with, I can call her Kiki, Lee, etc.
