Looking for “everyday mundanity meets horror” type.
I’ve just recently read Nightbitch by Rachel Yoder, and Hooked by Asako Yuzuki.
Both were quite striking for a number of reasons: but I think they commonly bear a theme of “the horrors of everyday life”.
I’d love something equally as existential or unsettling.
