India needs many more I.T.I instead of just I.I.T.

Using I.I.T name because it instantly gets attention and response.

Main thing is that we are needing many more ITI in India. It is costing us very much. It is total waste of money for all of us and waste of natural resources material also.

I have experience with plumber, carpenter, electrician.. Their shortage of skills is destroying too much.

Plumber came and fitted the tap and also did some work on toilet flush. In less than a year same work had to be done again. He didn't repair properly and I had asked him to take some more money for his service and also get high quality fittings.

Same problem with carpenter and door frame, electrician and switch board.

In all this, the people just didn't have necessary skills. They wasted existing things and also new material.

Some skill could be taken from YouTube also. But some certificate for the skills will make it better for everyone.

I asked them why they didn't go to ITI and electrician didn't get admission. Others just learned from someone they were familiar with.

How can we fix this.
