boruto anime is canon slop

and momo/isshiki are bland nothing characters with no motive

boruto fans have to drag down naruto to the same level of canon slop to have any defense

naruto got popluar cause of merit, it couldt ride on branding and get liked solely cause of that

orochimaru was a actual good character, tho

traumatized by constant death, his parents, nawaki and so on drove him to want immortality as to not end up like them

he even cried upon nawaki's death cause orochi does have depth and aint just canon slop like boruto with zero depth

closest to a deep character we get, is eida wants to be loved cause her power prevents her from forming real connections with other people

even characters with motives like shin uchiha are weird cause he wants to revive the akatsuki when why would he even care about that

you can really tell they didt think about shin at all

a good show stands on it's own merits and worth

angel dust's entire character is a testament to that, his addiction to drugs, pleasure and whatever are coping mechanisms to deal with his enslavement and abuse. the story does try to show him getting better tho such is the whole point of the bar scene. refusing to get drunk and give into temptation when he once would of

boruto has none of that

eida if anything is a poor man's angel

both want affection and belonging but cant get those things cause of circumstance

angel cause of his trauma and baggage

and eida cause of supernatural powers and nothing else

even somebody like adam has a decent character being a sexist person which is informed by his experieces with eve and lilith who both rejected him and went to lucifer instead, the most despised person in creation

adam tho as we seen in the end smiled seeing that lute cared about him. it's not a perfect arc by any means but it shows how even somebody like adam can be redeemed and all it took was lute actually being there for him

kinda ties into the whole theme of the show too

You cant read into boruto like this, it has no depth to dicusss

shizuma wants to revert the rain village why

he has no connection with the actual blood mist village or it's beliefs

nothing is informed by character, he has that motive

he has his design as a member berry call back to what occured in naruto

same goes with the motive

it's just a member berry call back to the blood mist, it has zero actual depth behind it

hazbin is way better then these canon slop trash shows
